Aikido in the Park

We will meet at the North-West corner of Liberty Park; sign-in is at 8:30 am.

Class will be held from 9 am to 10 am.

Wear your sweats or workout clothes that can get grass stains on them; no Gi's!!
Make sure to bring your Jo, a yoga mat if you have one, your facemask (this is important), and a water bottle.

If you have any questions, please send a message to

We're very excited to see you on the lawn!

Iaido Classes Resuming

Iaido classes at Aikido Mountain West have resumed! Mondays and Fridays at 6 pm.

We’re confident that Iaido practice can be safe. There will be no physical contact between students, and, of course, training with a sword requires that practitioners maintain an appropriate distance from each other. Moreover, we’ll be taking additional precautions to increase everyone’s safety: class sizes will be small, and students must wear masks while they train. Since we’ll be limiting the number of students per class, you’ll need to reserve a spot before coming to the dojo. And we’ll add more sessions if we need to - so everyone gets a chance to train.

If you’re interested in Iaido classes, or if you have questions, send a message to

All classes except those mentioned above are currently postponed due to Covid-19.
